As Founder of Theodore Barber & Company, Inc., Theodore “Ted” Barber brings a high degree of skill, integrity and expertise to each project. Mr. Barber has over 30 years of broad based experience in food service across a broad spectrum of industry segments.
Prior to founding Theodore Barber & Company, Inc., Mr. Barber held a wide range of senior positions in his career which allowed him to work closely with and understand the many facets that make up a well-rounded food service professional. In his early days at The Walt Disney World Company, he worked with many notable domestic and international chefs while assisting in the development of the EPCOT Center Project. His role included project management, procurement of; food service equipment, table ware, food, beverage and all related necessities to operate the Florida Walt Disney Resorts and Theme Park operations. While in this role, Mr. Barber provided oversight for procurement for the Disneyland California Theme Parks and Resort operations. During his time with Disney he was named the Food Facilities Liaison and Design Manager to Walt Disney Imagineering, Walt Disney World Operations and Tishman Construction for the $1.2-Billion EPCOT Center project at Walt Disney World Florida. After the successful completion of his work at the Florida and California Disney properties, he was invited back 10 years later to perform the same functions for the 31 kitchens at Euro-Disney Theme Park in France.
His additional career credits include leading project design on prestigious projects for companies such as Sony Entertainment / Metreon California, Irving Convention Center, Irving Texas and Baha Mar Resorts, Bahamas, Sheraton Sand Key Resort and many more world-wide.
